Frequently Asked Questions

As an armchair development investor, you are essentially, an equity partner in a development project.

When the Development Company can obtain part of the funds it needs to complete a project from investors rather than the bank, this reduces the holding costs, improves serviceability and maximises profits. This in turn allows the Development Company to share its profits with the investors.

Investors deposit their money into an independently managed fund and receive units or shares reflecting the investment structure of their project. Investors then receive ongoing distributions into their bank account each month and upon full project completion the original investment capital will be distributed to investors.

Investors can start with as little as $30,000-$50,000 depending on the structure of the project to access the strong returns and monthly distributions that Armchair Development Projects offer.

Anyone with a goal to earn above-market returns on their capital in an AFSL regulated environment while still being able to benefit from receiving ongoing monthly cash flow.

An Armchair Development Investor understands the true value of leveraging from the experience and knowledge of others and is someone who wants their money working harder for them than it necessarily would through more traditional investment options.

Apart from depositing your capital into a bank and being content with the low-interest rates they offer, any investment carries with it an inherent level of risk.

Armchair Development investments are conducted under the structure of an AFSL regulated environment and funds are independently managed. Additionally, the AFSL holder implements control measures for the protection of investors capital that reduce the likeliness of risks occurring.

While no single investment can mitigate every level of risk, there is a significant level of due diligence and transparency of information contained in the official offer document for every investor to assess the suitability of an investment prior to making a commitment.

In all cases, prior to making any investment decisions, you should seek professional advice to ensure that your personal circumstances are taken into consideration and that you are optimising the efficiency of your financial structure.

The distributions paid monthly into your account are regarded as income for the relevant investment entity.
